Get acquainted with the general terms and conditions of St. Stefan's Villas & Hotel - Sozopol.

These general terms and conditions govern the relations between “DANIKO BG” OOD, UIC: 203087090, with registered office and management address: Burgas 8000, 67 Tsar Simeon Parvi Str., regarding the services and reservations provided by St. Stefan’s Villas & Hotel – Sozopol.

When a guest uses our services, it is automatically considered that he has read, understood and accepted the rules set out below.

I. Reservations

1. You can make a reservation in one of the following ways:

  • directly by phone
  • by email
  • come on site

2. After we receive and process your request, if it is by email or by phone, you will receive a confirmation of the reservation at the email address you provided or by phone.

3. A reservation is considered confirmed after payment of the relevant deposit, indicated in the reservation confirmation. We expect payment from you within 7 working days after receiving the confirmation. The balance of the entire amount of your reservation is paid upon arrival. Bank transfer fees are entirely at the expense of the Principal.

4. If payment is not made within the specified period, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.

5. For reservations made by phone “from today to tomorrow” or “at the last minute”, where there is no possibility of paying a deposit in advance, the room can be reserved upon check-in until 6 p.m.

6. You can cancel a reservation you have made in the following way:

  • by email or by phone.
  • in case a guest cancels a reservation no later than 7 days before the start of the stay period, the money paid by him will be returned to him within 14 working days from the moment the hotel was notified of the cancellation. In case the hotel is not notified of the cancellation within the stipulated period, the amount paid for the deposit is retained by the hotel as a penalty. In case of no-show for the relevant reservation, the hotel retains the prepaid deposit.
  • in case the hotel has to cancel, change or cancel a reservation, the guest will be notified by the time of check-in. In these cases, the hotel:
  • offers the client accommodation for another period, while maintaining the same conditions and prices.
  • refunds the deposit paid by the client, the deadline for this is specified individually.

II. PRICES AND PAYMENTS

7. The price of the accommodation is determined according to the current price list. Villas and Hotel “St. Stefan – Sozopol” has the right to set prices different from those announced in the price list for public holidays and for other periods that are explicitly defined.

8. Payments can be made:

  • In cash
  • By bank transfer directly to the hotel’s bank account

8. When accommodating more guests than the reservation was made, the hotel has the right to request additional payment.

III. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

9. (1) Unless otherwise agreed, the check-in time for the hotel or villa is after 15:00. Any arrival before this time will be subject to the hotel’s occupancy.

(2) The check-out time for the hotel room or villa is 12:00. In case you wish to check out earlier or later, you should notify the reception no later than 24 hours before the desired check-out time, and any check-out after the standard check-out time will be subject to the hotel’s occupancy.

(3) In case the reception confirms the later check-out – between 12:00 and 20:00, the same may be charged additionally.

(4) In order to avoid delays in check-out, guests should arrange payment of their bills in advance.

10. Upon check-in, the guest receives a magnetic access card, with which he can only open the room in which he is accommodated. The magnetic card provides access to the room rented by the Client until the Check-out Date. The guest is obliged to return the magnetic card to the reception upon check-out. In the event that a guest loses or damages the hotel card provided to him upon check-in, he must pay a fee of 10 EUR | 19.56 BGN

11. Check-in takes place upon presentation of personal documents certifying the client’s identity. The data you provide are protected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and the regulations governing the protection of information and are processed only in connection with the implementation of the established requirements of the Tourism Act.

IV. BEHAVIOR

12. Guests should inform the reception of any changes to their reservation, any violations, lost, forgotten, damaged, stolen or found items, as well as any complaints that may arise during their stay.

13. Guests should take care of the hotel property, equipment and structure. Guests should treat the property of Villas and Hotel “St. Stefan – Sozopol” with the care of a good tenant. In view of this, we ask guests not to leave windows and doors to the terrace open and to turn off electrical appliances in the room after use.

14. (1) We ask all guests to observe the relaxation hours between 14:00 and 16:00, and after 22:00. If a violation is found, please contact the reception.

(2) It is the hotel’s policy that every guest has the right to be treated with dignity and respect, and it is the hotel’s duty to protect its guests from inappropriate behavior. If the shift manager considers the actions of a guest to be inappropriate, the hotel reserves the right to take appropriate action against the guest. Depending on the severity of the guest’s actions, the police may be called at the hotel’s discretion, and guests may be asked to leave the hotel.

15. We kindly ask parents of children under 7 years of age not to leave them unattended.

16. (1) We kindly ask guests to comply with the daily housekeeping services provided by the hotel between 08:30 and 15:00.

(2) If the “Do Not Disturb” sign is placed on the door handle and visible to us by 3:00 PM, staff members will be warned not to knock or enter the room or villa for any reason and your room will not be serviced. The room will be cleaned the following day.

V. RESPONSIBILITY

17. (1) The hotel is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen personal belongings of guests.

(2) The hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to the guests’ vehicles left in the free parking lot of the complex. In the event of a problem with the motor vehicle in the parking lot of the complex, including, but not limited to, theft of the vehicle and damage to it and its absence, the hotel does not bear any responsibility towards the hotel guest and/or towards third parties who have rights to the vehicle.

(3) If a vehicle is left in the parking lot without the consent of the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to remove the vehicle at the expense of its owner.

18. In the event that a lost or forgotten item of a guest is found, the hotel will make efforts to find its owner, storing the item within 30 days.

19. In case a guest intentionally or carelessly damages the hotel equipment, furnishings or structure, he will be charged depending on the damage caused. Payment is made at market price, immediately and in cash at the reception.

20. Any damage caused by a guest to the yard area is at his expense.

21. In case a guest takes an item – property of the hotel outside its territory and without the knowledge of a member of the staff, he is obliged to pay for the same item according to the price list attached to the hotel room.

22. (1) Carrying flammable objects, explosives, weapons, toxic substances, drugs is strictly prohibited.

(2) According to Bulgarian law, smoking of any tobacco products, including but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, electronic cigarettes, e-liquids, cigars, snuff or chewing tobacco, is not permitted in the indoor areas of the complex, including rooms, corridors or any other public indoor area. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.

In case a guest smokes in a hotel room or villa, a fine of EUR 50 will be imposed.

VI. CHILDREN’S POLICY

23. Persons under the age of 12 are considered by the hotel as children and must be accompanied by an adult responsible for their behavior.

24. Persons of or over the age of 12 are considered by the hotel as adults and are charged accordingly during their stay at the hotel.

25. (1) Persons under the age of 6 are accommodated free of charge with their companions/parents, using the existing bedding;

(2) a child from 6 to 11.99 years old – receives a 50% discount;

26. The hotel provides free baby beds, the above being provided subject to availability and by prior arrangement.

VII. PETS

27. The hotel also provides facilities for accommodating pets up to 10 kg.

28. Pets must be on a leash in all common areas of the complex and should not be left unattended in hotel rooms unless they are in a cage.

29. Accommodation of pets is charged additionally, for which you can obtain more information from the Reservations department.

VIII. OTHERS

30. (1) In the event of any deficiencies in these General Terms and Conditions, as well as in the event of a dispute arising therefrom, Bulgarian law shall apply accordingly.

(2) These General Terms and Conditions may be amended periodically in accordance with the requirements of Bulgarian and European legislation without expressly notifying the guests thereof.

(3) Any change to the General Terms and Conditions shall take effect immediately upon its publication.
